Ivo Nikić (*1974 in Pristina, today Kosovo) is a Polish-Kosovar multidisciplinary artist whose work includes painting, photography, video, installations, objects, and actions in urban space.

Nikić plays with connotations and undertones, deconstructs the world into its basic elements, questions ready-made solutions, and re-evaluates the categories of beauty and ugliness. He combines elements of the old masters (Hieronymus Bosch, Rembrandt) with modern art such as Cy Twombly’s scribbles, mixes street art with the idea of sampling associated with hip-hop music, and adds a touch of humor to it all.

In 2003, he graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the studio of Prof. Jarosław Modzelewski. Since then, he has exhibited in renowned museums and galleries across Europe. In 2006, he was an artist-in-residence fellow in Bern, Switzerland.

Nikić lives and works in Warsaw, Poland.
